Finalization

Our final court date was on July 11th and we received word yesterday July 16th that the adoption is final.  It was a happy day to have everything legal even though we have been a family long before!  I remember sending in our initial application with the agency on Jan 1, 2011 with so many steps still ahead of us.  And now here we are a family of three!  We were meant for each other!

Our biggest dream come true...to be a Mommy and Daddy to this little guy.  He is the love of our lives and was worth the wait!

      Thank you Sue! Most domestic baby adoptions' finalizations are 6 months after the baby is born. Mainly because of the home visits that need to be done in that time so that a report can be given to the courts. But I know each state is different and has their own laws too.

    He is just precious in EVERY way!!! He was meant for you and Bill and I can't express how happy that makes me every time I see your family pictures. SO SO HAPPY everything is final. Love you guys! Can't wait to see you at the reunion!
